Inspired by the TikTok feta pasta trend, I thought I would try a slightly different version using one of my favourite cheese, Boursin.
I shared a video of me making it on my Facebook page, and it absolutely blew
up, with over 376000 at the time of writing this!
A few people asked me to write up a proper recipe, and while it is super easy
and doesn't really need a specific recipe, I thought I would give the people
what they want!
The beauty of this recipe is that you can really play around with the flavours
you add, adding more veggies, removing veggies or more.
In terms of quantities, it really depends on the size of your tray. If you play
the video below you will see it is as easy as throwing everything in together!
Add pasta water
The most important thing I have to stress with this recipe, and any other
cheese and pasta-based traybake, is the pasta water.
This stuff is like liquid gold and can thicken up any pasta sauce, and help
create the smooth creamy sauce in this dish.
When you've cooked your pasta, drain some of the water off and save it.
A Yorkshire pudding wrap stuffed with beef, that's Slimming friendly and
perfect for dipping in gravy!
This is something that I have wanted to try out for ages now, and I finally did it! I think that Yorkshire puddings are one of the best parts of a roast
dinner, so any excuse to consume some I will take!!
*Scroll down for the full recipe and instructions*
The beauty of this recipe is that you can use up any leftover meat and veggies
from your Sunday roast, or just make it fresh to get your Yorkie fix!
I have tried to make Yorkshire puddings so many times, and lower fat ones are
much harder to make.
The trick to getting perfect Yorkshire puddings is to leave the batter for as long as you possibly can before you cook with it. I make mine up the day before!
Then, get the pan as hot as possible before adding in the batter mix.
Also, don't open the oven door until it's fully cooked, otherwise, it will
sink!
You can also have a play around with what you put in your wrap. You don't have
to stick to beef, things like chicken and stuffing would be amazing, or you
could just have veggies if you don't want the meat.

A delicious Slimming World Friendly Philadelphia Cheesesteak Style Sandwich with a healthier
twist!
Please note: This post contains an affiliate link
A cheesesteak is a sandwich which originated in the U.S. city of
Philadelphia, made from thinly sliced pieces of beef and melted cheese
in a roll.
I have done several takes on this delicious flavour with my hugely popular
Philly Cheesesteak Fries, so I thought I would give the real thing, with real bread a go!
If you don't want to use up syns or calories on brad though, try the steak
filling on top of a salad instead.
How to make your cheese go further
I've started using a new cheese grater, and it is a total game changer! It
grates it up to be much finer than your usual cheese grater, meaning your
cheese goes much, much further.
This is the same amount of cheese, but as you can see, it looks like there is
much more on the left!
I ordered mine from Amazon, I have added it as an

What bread can I use?
You can use any bread you like, but my personal favourite is Schar GF
ciabattas. If you are following SW, this can be used as a HEb.
Otherwise you could get a mini baguette and syn it accordingly.

Slimming Friendly Chicken with Creamy Spinach & Parmesan Sauce, with
sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms.
So firstly, a confession. This dish isn't all that low in calories or syns,
but I do feel as though it is worth it! I was searching for chicken inspiration on Pinterest,
saw this recipe, and had it gave me the inspiration to make my own version.
I have tried to save on syns as much as possible, and you could save yourself
even more by swapping sundried tomatoes for cherry tomatoes and reducing the
amount of Parmesan.
I served it with some brown rice, and it was extremely delicious. I really
love having rice with a creamy sauce.
Any time I used Spinach it always looks like I have added loads in, but in reality, it wilts down to almost nothing! So my advice is to smash in as much as you possibly can! The more the better.

My Slimming World friendly KFC Fakeaway Recipe: Gravy Burger Recipe
Have you seen the KFC Gravy Burger Advert yet? It is the 2020 offering from
KFC. A KFC fillet burger, teamed with creamy gravy mayonnaise, cheese
& topped with a cupped hash brown made to be filled with lashings of
gravy.
The real thing can set you back lots of syns and calories, but my fakeaway
version can save you both calories and syns!
I was surprised how well this turned out, it was absolutely delicious!
The key to this burger, is making sure the hash browns have a 'well' in them
to hold all the gravy, and of course, some deliciously rich, thick gravy.
I put a lot of my favourite KFC recipes together for this one.
As for the gravy mayo, I wasn't too sure about that one! I mixed some of the
gravy together with mayo, and it was surprisingly tasty!
Can I reduce the syns or calories?
I used a proper white bun for my burger which was 7 syns, but if you are
following Slimming World you could use a
Schar Gluten Free Ciabatta Roll
which can be used as a healthy extra.
You could also leave out the bun, swap for a wholemeal bun or gluten free bun.
This tasted like a real treat, even though it was far fewer calories, syns and
fat than the real thing.
The beauty of this is that you can add as much or as little gravy as you like!
