Cheesy Jalapeno Bacon Pasta

Cheesy Jalapeno Bacon Pasta recipe healthy slimming

This is a really simple weeknight dinner, that you can literally put together in a matter of minutes. This is a chilli cheese pasta bake with crispy bacon bits. I made it using Primula cheese with jalapenos.

Primula actually makes a really good pasta sauce, with a few flavours of my own added in. I chopped up some bacon medallions and fried them off in the pan while boiling the pasta.

If you like cheesy pasta, there are lots of different flavours you can try. This is not an advert, just a product I purchased and liked!

You will need:

140g Primula Cheese with Jalapenos (if you can't find it, use normal Primula and then add 1 tsp dried chillies)
100g dried pasta
4 bacon medallions, chopped into small chunks
1 onion, finely diced
1 tsp smoked paprika
Pinch of salt and pepper

Boil the pasta, following the pack instructions.

Mix the pasta, Primula cheese, paprika, bacon, onions, salt and pepper in a pan and stir through 1 tbsp of the pasta water to make the sauce.

You could top with extra cheese if you wanted and bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
