Actirfy Slimming World Friendly Chicken Fried Rice Recipe




I've had my Actifry for a while now, and I love using it for the BEST chips and roast potatoes ever! Its actually way more versatile than that, so I wanted to try something a little different in it. 

The first thing that came to mind was some kind of fried rice, and what better way to really test the actifry than to my my favorite, chicken fried rice!

The key to making this dish a success is all in the timing! Make sure that you use the timer on the machine.

You will need:

500g diced chicken breasts 
200g long-grain rice (uncooked weight), cooked and left to go cold
200g peas
handful of mushrooms finely sliced
1/2 onions finely diced
1tbsp soy sauce
1 clove of garlic, finely chopped

A pinch of salt
Frylight

Method:

Add the garlic and diced chicken breast to the actifry dish. Spray with frylight. Set the timer for 4 mins, then put the dish back into the actifry and set it to go.

Then add the peas, onions and mushrooms. Set the timer for a further 3 minutes.

Finally add the rice, soy sauce, salt and pepper, spray with fry light and fry for 5 minutes. If the rice is looking pale, add some more soy sauce.
