Review: Kikkoman Soy Sauce

Kikkoman Soy Sauce is the essential, all purpose seasoning for all of your favourite dishes, from soups or stews to salads or stir frys. You may have seen the adverts on TV currently where they show an amazing range of food being cooked using this sauce, it makes my mouth water every time so when the opportunity came up to try some for myself I grabbed it with both hands!  They use just 4 pure ingredients, naturally brewed over several months to give a distinctive aromatic taste.

They included a great stir fry recipe, and I also discovered this recipe on their website, created by a fellow blogger Victoria Lee  who won their blogger recipe competition for a Teryaki burger with tomato and soy salsa.  It sounds just too delicious not to try it out myself!  I got the Kikkoman Teryaki Marinade for the burgers.  The recipe was simple and really effective, a great juicy burger with a Teriyaki tang and the soy sauce salsa was delicious and a great compliment to the burger.  I actually cooked this on Valentine's Day for Nick, and he absolutely loved it! I served it with triple cooked crispy fries, his favourite!

I also created a delicious vegetable stir fry using the reduced salt soy sauce, and it was delicious! Made with chilli, garlic and ginger to create a lovely spicy stir fry sauce.  I really enjoyed it, and it was so quick and simple too!

These, as well as the teriyaki sauce are staple kitchen ingredients, and I know I will be using them in many more recipes!

You can find them in all major supermarkets, and check out their wide range of recipes on their website!
