1. Green Tea

If you have ever researched weight loss before and come across some of the drinks which can be used to aid the process, Green Teais always first on the list. Green Tea is a natural tea made from fresh leaves and it is a drink which is ideal for those who want to enjoy a good cuppa with all of the health benefits attached. Green tea is earthy in flavour and it is packed full of antioxidants and vitamins to help boost the metabolism of the body and help digestion of food. If you drink 2-3 cups a day you will soon see a change in your body and your overall health.

2. Coffee

Contrary to what you might believe, coffee is a drink which is actually very healthy. Coffee is often used by people all over the world to give them a boost of energy in the morning and it is also an effective mood booster for many. If you are looking for the ideal choice for a morning beverage, coffee or even decaffeinated coffee is great choice. However it is also important to make sure that you don’t add lots of sugar and milk to your coffee because this will defeat the object of a healthy drink, so instead make sure that you drink your coffee as black as you can handle it.

One other thing which is interesting to know about coffee is that many superhero film stars drink only coffee the day or two before a photoshoot because it sucks the water out of the cells of the body, helps to define muscle tone, and will reduce bloating. So if you are ever thinking of a photoshoot for an event, make sure to drink only black coffee for the day before!

3. Black Tea

Black tea isn’t quite as popular as green tea however it shares a lot of the same health benefits and it is a wonderful drink to enjoy every day. Black tea when drunk every day is a great aid to weight loss as it is full of compounds which help to stimulate the weight loss process. Black tea is called balck tea because the leaves which make up this tea have gone under more oxidisation than other teas and this helps to give it a richer and darker flavour. Polyphenols are found in black tea and they can help to promote weight loss by reducing our calorie intake. This means that we burn off more than we consume and therefore we lose more weight.

4. Water

As you may already know, water is what makes up almost 70% of our bodies and this means it is an incredibly important thing to drink every day. The best thing about water for the body is that it helps us to cleanse the body of toxins and this is something which also helps ease hunger pains. One of the things you can do to stop you from overeating and taking in too many calories is to drink some water when you start to feel hungry. Once you do this, wait 10 minutes and if you still feel hungry have a piece of fruit or something small. A lot of the time when we are thirsty we can mistake this for hunger and eat too much as a result we gain weight. Lemon is a great thing to add to water first thing in the morning for a drink which is amazing for kickstarting and boosting our metabolism.

5. Apple Cider Vinegar

One of the drinks which may not taste as good as the others on this list is apple cider vinegar. Vinegar isn’t the most delicious tasting drink however the health benefits of apple cider vinegar are worth it. If you want to boost your metabolism, make your skin shine and digest food easily, a shot of this a day is the key.

Ginger has a lot of amazing properties such as anti-inflammatory and anti-bloating, as well as being able to help the body digest foods much easier every day. Ginger is a strong tasting spice and this is why it is best to dilute this into tea for an easy to manage drink every day. Take this in the morning before breakfast and it will help to wake up the body for the day ahead.

7. High-Protein Drinks

Protein is the most essential thing you can eat and drink when you are trying to change your lifestyle because protein is what helps us build muscle mass and also helps us to repair muscles and tissue after a workout. Drinking a shot of protein or a protein shake each day will help to keep the body healthy and strong when you are trying to get into a fitness routine.
