Chablis Summer Wine

I really love white wine, so when I was offered some to review I was really excited!  I was sent 3 delicious bottles to try out for myself.

Chablis, Domaine Dampt, Vieilles Vignes, 2015

"Chablis is one of the world's most revered wines. While Petit Chablis comes from soils just outside the hallowed area, when it tastes as good as this minerally, citrusy, intense 2015 from a top estate, you'll find it hard to spot the difference."

Petit Chablis, Domaine Louis Moreau, 2015

"The nose displays mineral, flinty aromas, hints of citrus and subtle buttery notes, while the lively palate is packed with lemony grapefruit flavours and a steely finish."

This wine has plenty of flavour with hints of apple and lemon.

Petit Chablis, La Chablisienne, 2014

" Reckoned by professionals as the best of Chablis, this wine is for pleasure."

I really enjoyed the delicious crisp flavours with some chicken in a creamy white wine sauce!

Chicken & Chablis Mini Filo Tarts

You will need-

1 Pack ready rolled filo pastry
2 large chicken breasts
100ml double cream
200g cream cheese
1 garlic clove
Salt & Pepper
1 table spoon of flour
100ml Chablis

Method:-

Roll out the pastry and use a large cutter to cut a circle of filo pastry and line each cup of a 12 cup muffin tin.

Chop the chicken into small chunks and fry on a low heat.  And the wine and garlic and simmer for 10 minutes, until the chicken is cooked.

Add the cream cheese and cream and mix together with the flour to form a creamy sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Allow the chicken mixture to cool and then spoon it into each of the filo pastry cases.  Put in the oven for 15 mins at 190 degrees until the pastry is crispy.

Remover from the tin and serve while still hot
