You will need-

1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 garlic cloves, crushed
Bacon, all fat removed
500g extra lean beef mince
1 tbsp fat free fromage frais
5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (bbq sauce)
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce (burgers)
1 tsp mustard powder
500g passata
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp sweetener
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
4 bacon madalians (all fat removed)
4 x 40g of Low fat cheddar cheese
4 x 60g wholemeal rolls
1 tbsp fat free fromage frais

To Serve:

Syn Free Coleslaw

Method-

In a pan mix passata, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, smoked paprika, sweetener and seasoning. Bring to the boil and leave to simmer for around 10 mins on a low heat. Leave to reduce,

Add 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce to the beef mince with salt and pepper and combine

Spray some low calorie spray in a frying pan and heat.  Finely chop the bacon and fry off with the onions until crispy.  Remove from heat and put on a paper towel to cool.

Once cooled mix with the cheese, fat free fromage frais, bacon and onions. Form a spoonful of bacon-cheese mixture into a ball and place in the centre of 4 patties. Fold the mixture around to seal and form your burgers.

Cook on a medium heat in a frying pan or griddle. Grill burgers over medium-high heat, flipping once until cooked (about 4 minutes each side for a medium burger)

Place in a bun and top with BBQ sauce
