I love nothing more than a good Sunday Roast dinner! I have got my Slimming World friendly version mastered now, check out my full post here to create your very own roast!
One the of the best for me is a thick and delicious gravy. Gravy granules are syned and don't taste as good as the real thing. This gravy tastes best when you allow it to simmer for at least an hour. It also helps reduce it down. If you like your gravy extra thick you can add some corn flour and syn it.

This gravy also goes great with these recipes:
Syn Free Gravy
1 large onion, finely diced
1/2 clove garlic
Pinch of salt & pepper
1 pint of stock. Use whichever favour of meat you are using it for (Chicken, beef, etc)
2 tbsp Red Wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp Worcester sauce
Add all the ingredients to a saucepan.
Leave to simmer for 1 hour, the longer the better!
I like the blend the gravy until completely smooth. The onions helps to thicken it up.
Did you know that I have a weight loss support group on Facebook!? It's a place to share meal ideas, meal plans, food pictures, success stories, meal plans and generally support each other on our weight loss journeys!
Syn calculations are all carried out as a paying Slimming World member. I am not a consultant! It is always recommended to check syn values yourself.
