So...you're thinking about starting Slimming World?


It is January 1st 2015.  Most of the country have opted for a "New Year, New Me" approach to 2015 and want to get into shape or lose some of the Christmas weight. I started Slimming World back on 29th July 2014 and have lost 3 stone so far.



I am an online member and  really want to hit my target weight in this year.  So, as it is a new year I decided that I would post everything that I eat daily over on my Facebook page with a full rundown to try and explain things for you.  I think this will keep myself on track as well as hopefully inspire some of you with your food and meal choices.  I will then do a weekly round up on the blog on a Monday when I weigh in. 

If you are currently looking around the internet deciding whether to start or not, just do it.  I was apprehensive at first but the results I have had so far are so so rewarding. Get yourself down to your nearest group or sign up online!

My Top Tips:-

Plan you meals at least a whole day ahead, that way you will know what you are having on a daily basis and how many syns you have to spare.

 Read the book/download from front to back until you are confident and have a good understanding of the plan. 

Join some member run pages on Facebook for additional support. Some good examples of this are: Slimming World , Slimming World Friends Recipes and Slimming World Thinspiration,

Drink upwards of 2 litres of water a day, the more you drink the more you shrink!
