*This post was created in Partnership with Zanussi, and I was gifted this oven, however, all thoughts and opinions are honest and my own.*

Have you seen my exciting news? I am delighted to announce that I am partnering with Zanussi UK on their Fakeaways campaign! I will be showing you how to create delicious, healthy Fakeaways using my brand new Zanussi AirFry oven!

If you follow me, you will know that I love to create delicious but healthy versions of my favourite takeaways, also known as the Fakeaway. If you haven't seen it already, check out my Crispy Chilli Beef Fakeaway Recipe and Chicken Katsu Curry Recipe.

I was even dubbed the 'Queen of the Fakeaway' by the press, back in lockdown 1!

By making your own Fakeaway favourites you're not only saving money but saving on calories too.

Zanussi provides clever, simple, solutions for ease of use and enjoyment at home, and it is with great excitement that I can say that I have partnered up with them to share some brand new Fakeaway recipes, which I created using their Zanussi ZOPNA7X1 oven with AirFry technology.

Gone are the days where I need to store a big, bulky extra air frying unit. The Zanussi oven has it all built-in one. This makes life so much easier and is perfect for making your own Fakeaways.

AirFrying your food gives you that delicious crispy fried taste, without as many of the calories. This is perfect for if you're eating healthily.

This technology also significantly speeds up the cooking process by up to 20% so your family favourites will be ready to enjoy in no time at all.

The perforated AirFry that comes with my oven makes AirFrying your food easy, which got me thinking. Can I make a whole dish in one using this tray and tech?

Salt & Pepper Chips are one of my favourite Chinese Fakeaway dishes, and using the Zanussi tech, I AirFryied everything all on the one tray! This meant it was super quick to make from start to finish.

The chips came out so perfectly crispy, without the need to do any par boil first.

1 red pepper, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, sliced
1 red chilli, finely sliced

Method:

Preheat oven to 190 degrees on the AirFry setting or 200 degrees fan.

Cut the potatoes into chunky chips or wedges.

Spread the chips out onto the AirFry baking tray. and spray generously with low calorie cooking spray. Leave some space at one end of the tray for the vegetables.

Mix the Chinese five-spice, sweetener, salt, chilli flakes and pepper together, and sprinkle three quarters of the mixture over the chips.

Cook for 10 mins while you prepare the vegetables.

Lay out the slices of onion and peppers, then add the garlic and chilli. Sprinkle with the rest of the spize mix you prepared.

Remove the chips from the oven, then add the vegetables to the tray where you left space.

Cook for a further 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are cooked and the chips are crispy!

Mix it all together to get an even coating. Add the spring onions and serve!

Notes:

If you don't have a Zanussi oven, you can follow this recipe and lay the strips on a baking tray, turning them regularly.
