Sausage Casserole Recipe

This great winter warmer is delicious, easy, and packed full of tasty speed vegetables. This recipe is as easy as chopping some veg and putting it in a dish, however if you have a slow cooker you can put all the ingredients in before you go to work, and by the time you come home you will be greeted by the smell of this delicious casserole waiting for you

You will need-

6 SW Iceland sausages
1 Large potato, chopped into small cubes
3 Carrots
Handful of Mushrooms
1 Red Pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 Red Onion
2 Cartons of Pasata (sieved tomatoes) and a dash of water
1 Teaspoon of smoked paprika
1 Teaspoon of fresh basil
1 Teaspoon of sage
1 teaspoon of chillies
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 clove of garlic
1 Stock Cube
1 tin baked beans
1 tin kidney beans, washed

Chop all you veg into bite size pieces, crush your garlic clove and add into your slow cooker/casserole dish

Add the sausages, passata, dash of water and rest of the ingredients and stir.

Either put the casserole in the oven with a lid on for 45 minutes at 180 degrees, or slow cook on high for 3.5 hours, or low for up to 8 hours.
