Recipe: Thai Chicken Toasts

We often order this from our local Thai takeaway and it is called "Kha Nom pang Nha Gai".  It is simalar to sesame prawn toast, but with chicken.  I wanted to try it out for myself, but couldn't find many recipes for it online, so made it up myself!

You will need:-

250 g chicken breast
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 teaspoons corn flour
1 egg white, lightly beaten
6 slices white bread
1 pack sesame seeds
oil, for deep-frying
Sat and pepper

In a blender combine the chicken, garlic, corn flour and egg white until if forms a smooth paste.  Add some salt and pepper

Cut the crusts off the bread

Spoon the chicken paste onto the bread and press down until smooth.

Put the bread chicken side down into the sesame seeds, press to caot.

Using wither a deep fat fryer or a pan with oil, deep-fry the chicken toasts.  Put in the oil chicken sidce down first, then turn.

Put on some kitchen roll to absorb any excess fat

Serve with a Thai Sweet chilli dipping sauce.
