Cuddled into the corner of the cobbled Gandy Street in Exeter, the former Gandy Street Kitchen closed its doors for the last time and re opened as the newly minted Choccie Bar store. I was excited to go and check it out for myself!
One of the things I love about Choccie Bar (other than the taste!) is that every chocolate is hand crafted by Katie Jones, the owner and creator, and each chocolate looks like a mini piece of art. I was pleased to see a range of these visually stunning chocolates on display in the shop. Katie says "Since winning Foodie Product of the Year as voted by readers of food magazine, our online sales have been steadily growing and it’s become increasingly important to have a base for our customers to visit. Tucked into the picturesque cobbles amongst gorgeous independent boutique businesses, Gandy Street is absolutely perfect”
There is also a wide range of freshly prepared sandwiches, paninis and other tasty treats to tickle your taste buds, perfect to pop in of a lunch time. If that isn't enough you can even try some chocolate wine or flavoured vodkas! I couldn't resist getting myself some treats to have over Christmas!
If you live in Exeter then I really really recommend paying a visit to the shop and seeing how beautiful the chocolates are for yourself. They are in the running to win the Food Readers Awards again this year and need your votes! You can vote for them by visiting this website and selecting them in the "Best Foodie Product" category.
