Review: Choccie Bar

After trying out some of Katie's fantastic chocolates for Valentines day, I couldn't wait to try out some more and with Easter around the corner I used it as the perfect excuse.

As always the chocolates are beautifully presented and are colourful and very appetising to the eye!


The box contained- An orange crème- a rich creamy orange ganache, Raspberry crumble- raspberries, cream crumble into a caramel ganash in milk chocolate, Caribbean- mango, pineapple and a hint of coconut in a rich dark chocolate, Nut Log, in a rich milk chocolate, Peaches & Cream, fresh peaches with cream in a white chocolate ganache coated in milk chocolate, Lime caramel-smooth lime caramel in a white chocolate., Rich Praline- smooth nut centre in dark chocolate, Macadamia caramel- encased in soft white chocolate, Cafe Latte- smooth rich white envelope filled with coffee crème and a butter truffle- creamy truffle coated in creamy milk chocolate.

They all tasted even better then they look and have such a luxurious taste, making eating one just impossible! It really is no surprise that they recently won the Food Readers Award 2014 for Best Foodie Product! Katie Jones, Founder of Choccie Bar is thrilled: "We're all absolutely chuffed to bits by this award – we were up against incredibly strong competition. The readers of food magazine are a very discerning bunch who really know their stuff  - we're thrilled to have got so many votes and thanks so much to all of you who voted!", she says.
