Pancake Day Cocktail by Auchentoshan Whisky

If you are planning on whisking up some batter this Pancake Tuesday, why not pair your pancakes with a cocktail which incorporates the flavours of one of the nation’s favourite pancake toppings - lemon and sugar.

The Auchentoshan Sour Scotsman blends together the single malt whisky with lemon, sugar and egg white to create the perfect Pancake Day whisky sour which is sure not to disappoint. Whether you decide on savoury or sweet, this easy to make cocktail will add an untraditional twist to the occasion.

You will need:-
Juice of half a lemon
1 ½ teaspoons of sugar
50ml Auchentoshan 12 Years Old
12.5ml of egg white
Soda water to top up
Method:-

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, then fill with ice and shake. Fine strain into a tumbler glass, add a good dash of soda water, and garnish with a slice of lemon.
