Review: Kents Kitchen Peppercorn Sauce

"Kents Kitchen have created a range of products made with quality, authentic ingredients to create delicious tasty meals- perfect for busy people who love good food."

They have a range of meal kits on offer which all include infused oil, a paste pot and a pot of essential herbs and spices to create the perfect meal in 20 minutes. Their recipes range from Thai curries to Bengal Lamb, award winning spicy korma to a chow mein, all you need to do is add some recommended components to create a tasty dish.  I have been sent a selection of their products to try, including a peppercorn sauce base, thai red curry, rogan josh curry, beef rendang, chow mein and their chicken rub (perfect for making a roast chicken) and I will be writing about each of them as and when I try them out!

They have recently created their sauce sensations range, which includes this peppercorn sauce, which I couldn't wait to try! It is the base of the sauce and you just add 300ml of milk or cream to 3 teaspoons of sauce to create a thick and luxurious treat.  It has 16 servings of sauce, and you don't even need to refrigerate after opening it.

I made my sauce and served it with a nice steak from Burrows Farm.  I have to say it was one of the most delicious sauces I have ever eaten, so creamy and the flavour of the peppercorn was rich and strong.  It was really easy to make, and from scratch took a matter of minuets.   We both absolutely loved it, and because you get 16 servings out of it we will be using it again.  If this is anything to go by, I can't wait to try the rest of their range that I have been sent!
