Review: My First Graze Box

A few years ago in the office there was a trend going around for a "Graze Box". Everyone was getting sent a box with a few tasty treats in to get them through work. It seemed to me as though it was various different types of nuts and seeds- not interested! It was only recently that I had another look at their site, and realised that they actually have over 100 different options with a tasty benefit including cakes, olives and loads of other tasty things. Of course, I had to give it a go for my self!

Graze.com was started 5 years ago by a group of 7 friends who, like me, love their food. They soon realised that snacking isn't always that healthy, so decided to come up with healthy tasty options themselves.

They started inventing snacks that showed off healthy eating's more pleasurable side and conducted a plan to make these accessable for everyone, and Graze.com was born!

All of their snacks are tasty, yet healthy. Their packaging uses as little material as possible without losing any strength. The thin card comes from sustainable forests, it's 100% biodegradable & 100% recyclable. Even the little booklet that tells you all about the treats you have been sent is 100% biodegradable & 100% recyclable.

They also have a variety of gluten free, dairy free vegan options.

I was sent a generic 'first timers' box; just a few treats to get me going. You can use the website to adapt your options, say what you do and don't like, and also request that something gets sent to you with a higher priority.

The first major plus for me is that it is perfect letter box size. Working Monday to Friday means I am often not in when the postman comes, but the people at Graze obviously took this on board when designing the letterbox-friendly packaging. This meant a nice little surprise was waiting for me when I got home.

I opened it, looking forward to the treats that awaited me.

The box is separated into 4 compartments, and even comes with a recycled napkin! In my box I got:-

My Thai
A tasty selection of baked soy crackers and a sweet chilli dip. I wasn't expecting this to be that nice as I am not really a fan of rice crackers, but I was pleasantly surprised! The crackers were nice and crunchy and worked perfectly with the tasty sweet chilli dip. Even better is that this snack is only 84 calories

Super Carrot Cake with Afternoon Tea
A small square of carrot cake with a teabag to create the perfect afternoon tea. My only gripe with this is that the carrot cake was too small, but that is how they keep that calories down to only 82! A perfect combination together, and a great excuse to step away from your computer for a few mins to make your tea! It's also gluten free!

Cookies & Cream
Minni chocolate cookies, roasted hazelnuts, white chocolate buttons and sunflower seeds. The mini cookies were delicious, and along with the buttons, and just the right amount of sweet to go with the nuts and seeds. I really enjoyed this, but I am not really a fan of pumpkin seeds, so most of those got left. This is where going online and choosing the things that you do and don't like comes in handy!

Black Pepper Pistachio

I have never had whole Pistahios before.  Note to self:- take them out of the shell before trying to eat them! Once I had worked that out, these were really nice! I enjoyed them, and so did my work colleagues as they soon got gobbled up!

I was really impressed with my first box. Healthy, natural food and at a great price of £3.89 per box including delivery. You can choose how often you want to receive the box, so everything is tailored to your needs.

I really recommend them, and you can use a the special code of LATOYA6VP to get your first, fifth and tenth boxes for free with no commitment!!

I also have £5 gift voucher to give away. All you have to do to win is leave a comment below, the winner will be picked at random!
